Catie
Clune - Snow Sports Division Manager
Home Mountain: Northstar, Lake Tahoe
About Me: I grew up skiing with my family in Tahoe since
I was two. I switched to riding in the 6th grade and never
looked back, but when it came down to it getting an education
was a priority. I am currently in school at University of
California Santa Cruz where I can walk to the beach and keep
myself busy watching surfing while I wait patiently for the
snow. I am big on maintaining the environment, and naturally
love free riding tree runs, so I hate a resort that has cleared
out all of its terrain. Buying local is crucial in an economy
like ours, so I like to spend time finding my gear from local
riders and companies. I encourage all girls to step it up
and prove that you can hit it just as big as the boys, because
you can.

Liz
Lucht -
Advertising Director
Growing up in FL makes it very hard to not succumb
to the surfing culture, even living 30 minutes away
from the beach. When I’m not working or at
school, I am most likely grabbing a coffee on my way to New Smyrna! Back in
High School, we would drive to the beach on our “Early Wednesdays” and
be there on Saturdays and Sundays, as well. I am truly a beach bum who loves
the surfing culture! I currently am in the process of getting my BA in Marketing
and eventually plan on getting my MBA. I hope to one day work for an alternative
energy company or any eco-friendly company as their lead marketing director;
A job that can hopefully keep as close to the beach as possible. liz@surfandsnowmag.com |

Julie
Brockmeyer Stine -
Publisher
I call home, Virginia Beach, but I've been living in Florida since 1985. I
grew-up skiing in Pennsylvania, Vermont and Lake Tahoe and eventually turned
my attention to snowboarding about 12 years ago. I also learned to surf in
Virginia Beach, but the cold winters put my low tolerence for cold water in
hibernation from surfing when the water temps got below 65 degrees. I moved
to Florida to go to school and attended the University of Central Florida where
I surfed year-round and participated on the NSSA collegiate team there. I studied
journalism, advertising, public relations and marketing. With my education
and a stint at various publications, advertising agencies and companies where
I served in the marketing department, I decided to combine experience and my
love for surfing and snowboarding into a business. Wah-lah....SurfandSnowMag.com!
